Sheraton Raleigh Hotel is located right in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. It's walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping, Convention Center and Legislative buildings. It's also within walking distance from the Raleigh Amtrak Station.
The Sheraton is a very nice, modern spaciously designed hotel with every modern amenity. The lobby is a large atrium of glass that is airy and open. The rooms are generally large and comfy. Clients have commented that the robes provided are wonderful!
Checking in and checking out is quite easy and the staff members are great - very courteous and do their best to be helpful.
Food wise the best tip about this Sheraton is that you can order room service from an actual Jimmy V's restaurant (which is DELICIOUS). They also have a great little snack bar near the registration table for general munchies day or night.
This Sheraton has an indoor Pool and Jacuzzi plus a nice exercise and fitness facility.
Internet Access is free in the Club Lounge. You can get wireless in your room for $10 a day.
On street parking can be a bit dicey (as in any city). They do have a parking garage for $12 per day and a nearby oversized vehicle parking garage for $40 per day.
Driving Directions: Sheraton Raleigh Hotel is located at 421 South Salisbury Street in Raleigh. From Raleigh-Durham International Airport: Take Interstate 40 East towards Raleigh and take Exit 298B (South Saunders Street). Keep right and continue to McDowell Street and then turn right onto Davie Street. Turn right onto South Salisbury Street to the hotel.
