Greystone is a large Raleigh subdivision that's made up of 16 neighborhoods. It has three lakes, wonderful wooded home sites and is in a perfect location. It's close to I-540 and I-400, shopping, and lots of fun stuff to do.
Homes in Greystone were built from 1980 up through 1999. Most are traditional in style with a few contemporary styled homes here and there. There are both ranch style and two-story homes - however most are two-story.
Greystone subdivision has tennis, basketball and volley ball courts, as well as picnic areas, gazebo and picnic areas that overlook Greystone Lake.
The Greystone Swim & Racquet Club is located here and both Greystone and non-Greystone homeowners can join. Greystone homeowners get a discounted membership to the club which is sweet because it's a great facility.
The Greystone Swim & Racquet Club is particularly nice. It has an Olympic-size pool, diving area, toddler pool, food concessions, picnic areas, game area, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. Their swim team, called the "The Greystone Gators," and is part of the Triangle Swim Association.
You can fish on all three lakes in the Greystone subdivision. Fishing here is catch and release only.
