Carolina Ballet is an absolute jewel in our crown of Performing Arts in Raleigh. It was originally started as a professional dance company in 1997. Since then the Carolina Ballet has grown into a stunning company that has received accolades both nationally and internationally. The Carolina Ballet has toured internationally in China and Hungary.
Carolina Ballet is best known for beautiful performances of the classics - Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, and Cinderella. Our favorites are The Nutcracker and Messiah - both of which are always spectacular.
They also do original creations and more modern pieces that are stunning. We get excited about some of their new shows. We saw Dracula and were just awe struck. The costumes, music, and of course the dancers were phenomenal.
Carolina Ballet offers a summer intensive program for serious dance students. They get to train, rehearse, and perform with the Ballet's incredible professional dancers.
Carolina Ballet's performances are so good that you will love them even if you don't like ballet! They are simply Excellent! Splendid! Superb! Stunning! Stupendous! Bravo!
