18 Seaboard is a great upscale downtown Raleigh restaurant. The service is impeccable and the wine list is impressive.

We really like everything about the feel and the food at 18 Seaboard. We love the exposed brick walls, the long white curtains, and the elegance of the dining room. There's also a shaded deck upstairs that overlooks downtown Raleigh that's fun.

The food at 18 Seaboard fresh, seasonal American cuisine with a Southern twist. They use fresh local ingredients that change with the season and seem so perfect for whatever North Carolina decides to bring forth.

Must trys are the She-crab bisque with its sherry and buttery lusciousness, the bleu cheese grits (Erin's absolute favorite), Cracklin' pork shank, and NC trout. Superb!

The fried green tomato appetizer is yummy along with the goat cheese red potatoes. For desert, the peach creme brulee is divine but then so is the pecan pie creme brulee. Of course the apricot brulee is also so good - so much to choose from.

18 Seaboard is great. If you are looking for super good food and a wait staff that treats you like you dream of being treated - this is your place.

Lunch at 18 Seaboard is just as good. Perfect for impressive, classy business discussions or a relaxing break from plant shopping at Logan's.

18 Seaboard has always impressed us no matter how many times we go. Elegant, delicious, service supreme - you will love it.

Exit I-440 at Wade Ave. continue on Wade Ave, follow Wade Avenue all the way to Capital Blvd South/Downtown exit, exit on to Peace Street; turn LEFT on to Peace, follow Peace Street under the overpass. Turn LEFT at the second stoplight on to Halifax Street. Turn at 2nd LEFT on to Franklin Street, just past tennis court. The parking lot will be on your left.
