Sadly, A Raleigh Restaurant We Miss!

The Duck & Dumpling is a well-loved Chinese-Vietnamese restaurant that has been a long-time Raleigh institution.

The Duck has an upscale atmosphere - that's a little urban chic - perfect for that dress-up a bit evening. Also super for lunch.

There is a Price Fixe Menu for lunch - $12 for a choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. Well worth it and always great.

The dinner selection is excellent! Diver's Sea Scallops with Ginger Sauce are the best scallops you can find. The Thai Basil Shrimp are also heavenly!

As the name would demand the dumplings are incredible. A sampler of them is a good idea but if you want to just choose one - go for the Pork.

The wait staff is very attentive and very knowledgeable. Their recommendations are worth taking seriously.

A perfect is the Spiced Asian Pear with ginger ice cream. Your mouth will be thrilled!

The Duck & Dumpling is Asian food at its finest!

Driving Directions: The Duck & Dumpling is located at 222 South Blount Street in Raleigh. From I-40/440 and Wade Ave. Turn east on Wade; merge onto Capital Blvd/Downtown Blvd; Continue onto N Dawson; Turn left at W Morgan St; Turn right at S Blount St; The Duck & Dumpling will be on the right. Map
