Wake Forest Utilities

Wake Forest Utilities services are important to get set up early so you'll have everything connected when you get into your new Wake Forest home. When you're buying a home in Wake Forest it's important to arrange for your utilities to be connected as of the day of closing.

Most of the Wake Forest utilities can arrange to have their service started with a phone call or through their online system. Just let them know you want new residential services and they will guide you through the process. You want to contact them at least a week before you're scheduled closing date.

Water & Sewage
The city of Raleigh provides water and sewer service for Wake Forest. To start service in Wake Forest, a utility service application must be completed. New water/sewer accounts will need to pay a $50.00 connection fee. This connection fee will be added to your first utility bill.

Electric Company
The Town of Wake Forest requires a deposit to set up an account. The deposit can be waived if you provides two letters of credit from any previous utility company showing 12 months of good payment history. You may fax the letter of credit to (919) 435-435-9489 or mail it to 301 S. Brooks Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
