Wood Valley is an established neighborhood in North Raleigh, that lives up to its name. It is beautifully wooded with a gently rolling landscape. Most of the homes have wooded lots and the subdivision has several large, natural areas.
The homes in Wood Valley are primarily custom built traditional style homes. There are also some beautiful contemporary styles. Wood Valley homes have large lots - an acre or more. Home sizes are generally in the 3000 to 4000 square foot range.

A home in Wood Valley is just outside the city limits and benefits from no city taxes. Yet, it is just north of the Leesville exit off I-540 and convenient to shopping, airport, entertainment and Research Triangle Park.
Nearby subdivisions include Wildwood Green to the Southeast, Barton's Creek to the Northwest and Harrington Pointe to the South.
