A Raleigh home Buyer may choose to have a Raleigh Roof Inspection done on your home. While not common in Raleigh, it does happen.
It would usually occur if some indication of roof problems are seem by the prospective buyers or the Raleigh Home Inspector. However, some buyers just choose to have roof inspections preformed when they buy a Raleigh Home.
The North Carolina Offer to Purchase and Contract allows for a home inspection period, which is usually 10 days after the contract is signed by both the buyer and seller. It is during this time that the inspections would be done.
The buyer may choose any Raleigh roof inspection company they want to perform the inspection. The inspection cost are the responsibility of the buyer.
The roof inspection may be scheduled at the same time that the regular home inspection but possibly not. It just depends on the Raleigh Roof inspectors schedule or when the possible roof problems were brought to the attention of the buyer.
If problems with the roof are found, the buyers have the right to cancel the contract, accept the home with no further repairs, or ask you to repair the roof problems. We always ask for a copy of the Raleigh roof inspection report to verify what was found.
If this occurs we go over the report with you and develop a plan of action on what should be your next steps.
Other inspections that are commonly done are Raleigh Home Inspections and Raleigh Termite Inspections. If there is a septic system a Raleigh Septic Inspection may be performed.
